Stewards of our image...
This issue of WL focuses on why farmers must be stewards of their image, as well as stewards of their land. Do you agree? Share your thoughts on how farmers can improve their public image...
Wheat Farmers can improve their image by utilizing the wheat straw left over after harvest. This material can be used to make foodservice packaging like plates and bowls. I currently have to bring these products in from China and am looking for domestic sources of ag waste feedstock. The value added to the ag waste also includes the good will generated by consumers understanding this product is made from a formerly waste material.
